About Us

We invite women from all over the globe to enter our Open Advice Salon. You are welcomed! As our guest we pledge to provide a “safe” comfortable platform to be yourself and get “real” about your reasons for considering cosmetic surgery and the fears and reservations about moving forward.  Prospective cosmetic surgery patients can immerse themselves in the information gathering stage without the distraction of cosmetic surgeon sales advertisements and patient review promotion. Cosmetic surgeons (although not allowed to join) can see from your interactions what women really think and how we expect to be treated. Hopefully, they will develop better plans to improve the patient experience and gain insight into how cosmetic surgery patients feel about the treatments offered.

This is Cosmetic Surgery Advisors.com we are a free blog site designed to provide advice, information, and entertainment, to women considering or who have had cosmetic surgery.  The participants of this site are our guest and the reason we exist.

My Story:

 Chief Cosmetic Surgery Advisor

I am Angela Segal -Chatterfield. I have been in the plastic surgery industry since 1993. Previously, I was the Director of New Patient Development and Administration for plastic surgery practices on both the East and West Coasts. I worked exclusively with ASPS board certified plastic surgeons. In addition, I have served as the Director of Operations for an Orange County, CA, based internet-marketing company and worked as a Practice Consultant for plastic surgery practices both domestically and internationally. My passion for the industry has not changed throughout the years. I love our patients and believe that they deserve an excellent and informed experienceCosmeticSurgeryAdvisors.com was born in 2008 out of frustration. There was no one place for women to get factual information without being bombarded by ads and reviews.  When I launched in 2008 I was unable to keep the blog site without a steady revenue stream and I was not willing to add advertising to the site, so I had to put my plans on hold. I unpublished the site.  I remained in the industry working with hundreds of patients and enjoyed being a part of the wonderful transformation that happens in the lives of women considering cosmetic surgery.  The journey is exhilarating!  This is the part I love the most. So, I launched a contact management company. A company that would allow me to help women navigate the cosmetic plastic surgery journey… from the first contact. Our company represents plastic surgeons and it helps me to maintain a realistic pulse on what women are thinking and talking about when it comes to cosmetic surgery. Best of all; the success of our company allowed me to re-launch CosmeticSurgeryAdvisors.com without the need to have plastic surgery ads and reviews. I can provide advice without recommendation and the Open Advice Salon is a platform I am proud make available so that the voice of women is stronger than ever before.

It has been a long journey …but I am here doing what I set out to do…make a difference in the lives of millions of women
